Confluence: Bundanon at Night

Connect with Bundanon at night whilst reflecting on current concerns around climate and light pollution.

Bundanon has developed this learning experience for Confluence in collaboration with Dharawal artist and educator Jaz Corr.

The experience is inspired by Indigenous ways of knowing, being and doing that connect past, present and future learning. Participants will create a collective digital photography project that considers these ideas of learning and doing. The program will inspire a deeper understanding of the climate crisis, and ways of sustaining home and taking personal actions for the health of our planet.

To prepare for this program, bring a photo of where you are from, however you might interpret that, to start a conversation. Participants will come together to create a collective work with light and photography.

A maximum of 30 people will participate in this workshop.

Ages: All ages

What to bring? Torch, insect repellent, comfortable closed shoes and outdoor weather clothing, camera (or a device with a camera), and bring a photo of where you are from, however you might interpret that, to start a conversation.

Visiting details: The workshop will start after dusk (approximately 7pm) and run for approximately 2 hours. Visitors are welcome to bring a snack or light dinner to eat by the river before the workshop.

All children must be accompanied by an adult.
