    Visual Arts Teacher & Wayapa® Wuurrk practitioner Jaz Corr has specialised in Aboriginal Art, Culture & Well-being School Programs since 2019. Implementing Aboriginal Girls Programs, Family & Community Service Art Workshops, Aboriginal Leadership Art Workshops and is featured as an Aboriginal Educator at Bundanon faciltating Additional Learning Activities (2021 to present). She shares ancient Indigenous wisdom that focuses on taking care of the Earth and explores this connection with students to share contemporary Aboriginal iconography and art practice.

    Since 2019 Jaz has facilitated the Wayapa Wuurrk Aboriginal Girls Program at Vincentia High School with Aunty Gai. A complimentary community program that supports our young women through Art, Culture and Well-being practices. Wayapa Practitioner & Teacher Jaz Corr will be facilitating the 2024 program weekly, every Wednesday Period 2 ART1.

  • Professional Development Courses & Corporate Packages

    Visual Artist, Visual Arts Teacher (MEd) and Wayapa® Wuurrk Practitioner Jaz Corr implements Professional Development Courses consulting in Sydney, Wollongong and Kiama.

    Specialising in Wayapa® Wuurrk Wellbeing Workshops which allows Professional Learning Participants to engage in Aboriginal perspective and learning through the Practice of Wayapa® Wuurrk. For non-Indigenous people, Wayapa® will provide an opportunity to be immersed in the culture to understand Connection to Country, Community, and the Aboriginal Ways of Learning.

    Corporate packages are facilitated to suit individual projects and group sizes. Jaz has experience in facilitating corporate packages for University of Wollongong, Australian Arts Council, Department of Education, University of Wollongong (UOW) and TAFE NSW.

    We offer an interactive Wayapa® Wuurrk Acknowledgement of Country as we call for action to heal country honouring that “we walk in the footsteps of a thousand generations” (Uncle Jamie Thomas).

    Our Wayapa® Wuurrk Acknowledgement of Country is through an earth connection practice that is based on ancient Indigenous wisdom that focuses on taking care of the Earth as the starting point for creating Earth Mind Body Spirit well-being.
